Access is 7 miles (11 km) to I-75 and I-16 and 57 miles (92 km) to I-20, providing easy access north through Atlanta, south to Florida, and east to I-95 in Savannah. Georgia has over twelve hundred miles of interstate highways which connect Georgia to neighboring states and the rest of the nation. The state is served by a total of fifteen interstate highways, ranking Georgia tenth in the nation in the number of such superhighways.

The community also boasts access to 2 major Atlantic coast seaports. The Ports of Savannah and Brunswick are located within 2 hours of travel time. The Port of Savannah, home to the largest single-terminal container facility of its kind in North America, is comprised of two modern, deepwater terminals: Garden City Terminal and Ocean Terminal. Garden City Terminal is the fourth busiest container handling facilities in the United States.

With over 4,600 miles of active rail lines, Georgia has the largest rail network in the Southeast. Georgia’s location provides direct rail access to the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States. Jones County is served by Norfolk Southern Railway system

The Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is located 66 miles (105 km) northwest. The airport offers complete connection; international, commercial, corporate and recreational. 82% of commercial markets are within 2 shipping days of Georgia. Gray-Jones County is centrally located to major markets with access to road, rail, and air supply lines providing a wide range of options for moving cargo, using one or more different modes of transportation, saving time and increasing efficiency.
